Car Seat Fitting Station
Youth Services Bureau of Huntington County is a Certified Car Seat Fitting Station, providing families with hands-on support to ensure car seats are properly installed and used. Our certified technicians offer one-on-one assistance, safety checks, and education to help keep children safe on the road.
We also assist eligible families in need by providing car seats through referrals when necessary. Our goal is simple: to make sure every child is properly protected, and every parent feels confident.
Gear Up
The Gear Up Program helps families access essential baby safety items to create a safe and secure home environment. Through referrals and one-on-one support, we provide items such as car seats and other safety equipment while educating parents on proper use.
Our goal is to support families, promote child safety, and ensure every child has what they need to thrive.

Meet Ira Bencun
Ira serves as our Program Coordinator, leading our Home-Based services with care and dedication. She works directly with families in their homes, providing personalized support, resources, and guidance to help create safe and stable environments for children.
She also leads our Gear Up Program, helping provide essential baby safety items to families in need. As a Certified Car Seat Fitting Technician, Ira ensures parents are confident in properly installing and using car seats to keep their children safe. Through her one-on-one approach, Ira builds strong relationships with families and equips them with the tools and support they need to succeed.
